With just a goal to his name this season, summer signing Radamel Falcao could be handling in a transfer request away from Stamford Bridge in January after falling down the pecking order in Mourinho attacking force.
Falcao moved to Chelsea on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window after an unfruitful spell with premier league rival Manchester United.
He came in to challenge Diego Costa for a first place attacking spot but has failed to make any visible impression with the game played so far.
Report according to Metro has it that the 29-year old South American is not happy with the way things have turned out to be with the Mourinho side, and he could hand in a transfer request to Chelsea in January.
While speaking during yesterday press conference, Mourinho claims he is not aware of the rumour linking the Colombia international away from Chelsea.
‘First of all I don’t know if it’s true. To me he said absolutely nothing in relation to that’ said Mourinho
‘I speak with him every day. It’s quite strange the press know something I don’t know and my club doesn’t know. We don’t have one single bit of information about it’.
‘what he has to do is play more. He has to give us more than Diego. We normally play with one striker. I always go for the performance level.
‘It’s a direct competition between players for one position. The best one plays.’
Turkish giants Fenerbahce are said to be interested in the services of Falcao, to replace summer signing and Falcao former team-mate Robin van Persie, who has reportedly fallen out with the management of Fenerbahce.
