With the transfer window still open, Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is set to send out young England international Nathaniel Chalobal on a season-long loan move to Championship side Reading.
According to ESPN FC, Chelsea are set to complete the transfer of 20-year old England midfielder to Championship side Reading for a second stint.
The 20-year old star spent the second half of last season campaign with Reading making 20 appearances in all competitions. His outstanding performances for the Royals had draw the interest of manager Steve Clarke to secure the services of the star for a second spell.
Chalobah move to Chelsea youth academy in 2005 from Fulham but has yet to make any appearances for the Blues senior team. He is a very versatile player who can play both as a midfielder and also as a centre defender.
Since the U21 England star moved to Chelsea, he has spent most of his playing time on loan to clubs such as Middlesbrough, Watford, Nottingham Forest, Burnley and recently Reading.
Should the transfer be completed, Chalobah would join the likes of Dominic Solanke, Isaiah Brown, Lewis Baker, Christian Atsu on loan to get more experience and first team playing time.
