Report making the rounds claims that EPL defending champions have successfully completed the transfer of England young midfielder John Swift to Brentford, for the second half of the season.
This was made known by the 20-year old star through his instagram account when he wrote:
“Really happy to be staying at Brentford till the end of the season!!,” although he later deleted the post.
Swift move to Brentford in October this year for a month loan spell, but was later extended to January before agreeing to make it last the end of the season.
The England under-21 midfielder has featured for the Bees 14 times this season while registering three goals.
The sensational midfielder has been on fine form for the Bees since his move to Griffin Park and was praised by head coach last month when he said:
“He’s done well for us, he’s developed well. I thought he was very good against Reading and he’s got better defensively as well.
The young star moved to Chelsea’s youth team in 2007 and had only made one senior appearance for the Blues.
Swift will be expected to be in Brentford squad that will take on Birmingham City on Saturday, in the Championship game.
