Chelsea have in the last few days been very active in the transfer window, the Blues have in one week completed the signing of Rahman Baba and Pedro Rodriguez but aside in coming players, there may be some out goings. One of the players who is likely to leave Stamford Bridge this summer is midfielder Victor Moses.
According to reports, Tottenham are interested in signing the Nigerian. Mirror reports that the Nigerian is one of the players earmarked for a purchase by Tottenham and the Spurs are hoping a deal can be done for the player before the transfer window slams shut on September one.
After spending last season on loan to Stoke City, Jose Mourinho reportedly turned down Stoke City’s offer to sign the player on a permanent basis. Although he is yet to play for the Blues this season, he was used during pre-season where he impressed and has been registered for the Blues.
Only days ago the player confirmed the reason why he has not been used by Chelsea so far this season is because he has been nursing a “small injury”. This much he confirmed when he tweeted on twitter via his twitter handle (@VictorMoses): “Thanks for all of your support and concern, I’m having treatment on a small injury but hopefully will be back very soon. #CFC”.
Moses was signed by ex manager Roberto Dio Matteo in 2012 from Winger.
