Ramon Calderon, former Real Madrid President has fuelled speculation of Real Madrid moving for prolific Belgian international Eden Hazard.
Calderon has remained integral with Madrid set up even after leaving the presidency position at the club. He even revealed that Jose Mourinho was the preferred choice before Perez announce Zidane as the new coach.
When questioned about the player, he told Sky sports :
“I think they are maybe looking for Hazard.
“People are always talking about him, but he has contract with Chelsea and he hasn’t said anything about leaving Chelsea.
“We haven’t heard anything about Hazard leaving so we will have to see at the end of the year what is happening with the players currently at Real Madrid to decide what is to be done in the next transfer window.”
One thing is certain for now, that a move for the player would be in the summer. A fee around £100 million could be on the cards for the attacker.
Hazard many believed would want out of Chelsea giving his frail relationship with the Chelsea fans this season after being branded as one of the “THREE BAD APPLES” that caused the sack of Jose Mourinho.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could cash in on the Ballon d’Or nominee if he shows any intent of leaving the club.
