After bouncing back with back to back wins from a calamitous spell earlier in the season, the Blues got the better of city rivals Arsenal in a feisty match that ended 2-0 in favour of Mourinho and his men. The EPL defending champions Chelsea will today take on Walsall in League Cup at the Bescot stadium.
Chelsea Star striker Diego Costa will miss today’s match as the forward has been handed a three match ban due to the challenge he had on Arsenal centre back Laurent Koscielny over last weekend.
However, Mourinho had early confirmed that Radamel Falcao would be leading the attack ahead of Costa and team skipper John Terry would also be expected to be in the starting line-up after missing last match against the Gunners.
Summer signing Adul Baba Rahman and Papy Djilobodji would be expected to come in for Branislav Ivanovic and Garry Cahill respectively. Young starlet Ruben Loftus-Cheek would also be expected to come in for Cesc Fabregas.
We expect Mourinho men to have an easy ride over the Saddlers.
Here is how we expect the Portuguese tactician to line-up his men against the league One side.
