Chelsea have officially completed the transfer of Dutch international Nathan Ake on a season-long loan move to newly promoted Premier League side Watford to gain more experience and play time.
This was made known by Chelsea’s official website that the 20-year old star will spend the coming season on loan to Watford.
“The 20-year-old will continue his development by spending this season on loan in the Premier League at Watford”.
The Netherland U21 defender move to Chelsea youth academy in 2011 from Feyenoord and had since developed to become part of the Blues’ senior team. He made his first Premier League debut for the Blues in December 2012 replacing Juan Mata in a game against Norwich City.
