EPL defending champions Chelsea have officially sent out young French star Jeremie Boga on a season-long loan spell to Ligue 1 side Rennes to gain more playing time and experience.

“The 18-year-old Frenchman was an integral member of our Academy sides that lifted the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup last term.”

The attacking midfielder played a huge role in Chelsea’s youth team last season helping them to win both the UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup. He also scored a total of 12 goals in 37 appearances for the Blues youth team last season.
Boga will now be the 28th Chelsea’s player on loan this season to get a first team football.
