Great News: Chelsea Return To Spain To Sign 6FT 3 Star Ahead Of Weekend Game

If rumours making the rounds is anything thing to go by, then this will probably be the biggest thing that can happen to Chelsea this summer transfer window with reports claiming that the Stamford Bridge outfit are set to enter the race to sign French international star Raphael Varane.

This was made known by ESPN who claimed the EPL defending champions are set to step up their pursuit of Real Madrid centre back Varane before the transfer window closes.

Varane has been a major target for the Blues for about two seasons now. He was the Blues first choice target to replace club legend John Terry before John Stones interest came up due to La Liga giants Real Madrid ruling out any possible sales of the player.

The 22-year old star moved to the Real Madrid in 2011 from French Ligue 1 side Lens during the reign of Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho and had developed to become one of the best young defender in the world.

They young French man has got a lot of experience on his sides compare to Stones having played in and won the prestigious UEFA Champions League. He was also part of France squad that played in FIFA World Cup.
