Chelsea hope of defending their EPL title seems to be going down the drain after losing three matches out of five this season. The Blues have only managed to secure four points out of a possible 15 points and have conceded 11 goal from just five matches so far.
Rumours making the round now claim the Blues are looking forward to securing the services of former Barcelona shot stopper Victor Valdes after his fellow country man David De Gea ended intense speculation of moving to Real Madrid by renewing his contract with the Old Trafford giants.
The 33-year old goalie moved to United during this year summer transfer window but has falling down the pecking order in United squad after allegedly refused to play for the Red Devil under 21 team last season.
However, for Chelsea to be able to sign him after the close of the transfer window, United would have to cancel the final year of his contract which could be complicated with potential compensation needed to be paid to Valdes.
This Sudden move is however due to knee injury suffered by Chelsea first choice goalie Thibaut Courtois who has been ruled out for about three months.
