Just hours to the end of the transfer market but Chelsea seem to have unfinished business to do as they have shifted their attention to Marseille defender Nicolas N’Koulo.
This is according to Daily Mail who claims the Stamford Bridge outfit have enter the race to sign the Cameroon international after failing to secure the services of Everton’s centre back John Stones.
The 25-year old star moved to Marseille in 2011 from fellow Ligue one rival Monaco and had since established himself to becoming one of the best defender in France.
Since his arrival to Marseille in 2011, N’Koulo had scored a total of five goals in 130 league appearances for the French side.
The Blues were initially linked to Tunisian defender Aymen Abennour but opted for a move to Valencia yesterday for £22million.
However, with the transfer market closing today in most parts of Europe, the EPL defending champions must act very fast if they are to get their man.
