Whats happening Today in the greatest club in the world? Every day all you intelligent people who bleed blue wake up and and instead of ” oh I need coffee ” or ” gee I better have a shower ” your 1st thought is just like mine, ” quick quick I need to check the internet or papers to find out what’s happening at Chelsea.
The transfer window is closed but rumours and the papers never stop so here is whats happening today.
Chelsea won’t be bullied into selling Hazard
It was reported late last year that Ream Madrid were preparing to make a mega money bid for our young superstar Eden Hazard, why they would do this when they have Ronaldo and Bale Plus Spanish up and comer Isco is beyond me, but hey, its Madrid so anything is possible.
Hazard has been in sensational form for Chelsea in recent time, and has helped the Blues move within two points of Premier League title rivals Arsenal at the top of the table.
Chelsea’s financal position means we would have no need to sell though ( especially after selling KDB and Mata for 60mil ) and we have the muscle to offer the rising star the best wages in Europe if need be. So don’t panic CFC peeps, it would take a world record bid AT LEAST to even get Roman out of his diamond plated bed to take the call.
Chelsea target Cavani weighs up Premier League move as striker’s agents hold talks in London
Edison Cavani is unsure of his future in Paris after repeatedly being played in a much wider role then he would like to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and now it appears Cavani’s representatives are in London today as the striker considers a summer move away from Paris Saint-Germain.
The price rage for cavani would start at the 54 million PSG paid for him last summer, but this has not put off Jose Mourinho as he searches for a world class striker to lead the Chelsea line next year, with Costa Falcao and Mandzukic also being given consideration.
PSG owner Nasser El-Khelaifi has threatened to retaliate with counter offers for Premier League players should clubs pursue his players, so bids for Cavani could make for an interesting summer.
Loic Remy and Cheick Tiote to miss Chelsea game
Cheick Tiote could be out for up to three matches with a hamstring injury, the club have confirmed. The Ivorian picked up the problem in training earlier this week and is now guaranteed to miss Newcastle’s next two fixtures against Chelsea and Tottenham.
Loic Remy is still suspended after his sending off against Norwich and will also miss the Chelsea and Tottenham games.
Newcastle are looking a little depleted with Coloccini, Gouffran, Oberton, Ryan Taylor and Cisse all out because of injury.
Valencia midfielder Oriol Romeu, currently on loan from Chelsea, has suffered an unfortunate knee injury in training on Thursday morning, that could sideline him for at least four weeks, according to early estimates.
The young on loan midfielder had been a mainstay in the Valencia team of late and this will hit him hard as he tries to turn Jose Mourinho’s head and force his way into the Chelsea team for next year .
Early tests performed by the medical department at the club have revealed that Romeu has torn the meniscus in his right knee.
So lets all wish Oriol all the best for a speedy recovery.
