Negotiation Ongoing: Former Manchester United Star Set For Chelsea Transfer

Latest report according to English media house Metro has it that Chelsea’s misfiring striker Radamel Falcao could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge to join Italian Giants Fiorentina on a loan deal in January.

Falcao seems to have fallen out of favour with boss Jose Mourinho after a poor display during Costa three Match ban. Mourinho wanted the 29-year old striker to fill the void left by Costa by handling him a start ahead of Loic Remy during Costa absent but the Colombian failed make any positive impression with his play.

With earlier report that supper agent Jorge Mendes looking for a first team for his client, Fiorentina may be a likely destination for Falcao.

It will be recalled that Chelsea former player Mohamed Salah also spent half a season with Fiorentina when he couldn’t command a regular shirt at Chelsea. His loan spell to Fiorentina however turned his dwindling career around before moving to AS Roma.

Although Mourinho has come out to defend the striker while insisting he has never heard any word from the player concerning his dissatisfaction with the team and wanting to leave for first team football in January.

It is however reported that talks have started between the two clubs for a potential switch in January.
