With just less than two months to the January transfer market, rumour linking player to clubs have started and latest of such is that linking Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele to Stamford Bridge.
Report according to the Metro claims that Chelsea want the star as a reinforcement to their current midfield which have come under criticism this season.
Mourinho’s team currently sits on 15th position on the EPL log but the Portuguese tactician is poised on bringing in fresh legs that would help put Chelsea’s season back on track as they set to fight for top four place before the end of the season.
Report has it that a fee around €28million have been prepared for the Belgian, should Tottenham be willing to sell the 29-year old star in January.
Chelsea will visit Tottenham this weekend for an EPL clash which where Mourinho will have another opportunity to scout the star and confirm him as a potential recruit in January transfer window.
Aside from Dembele, the premier League giants are also reported to be interested in Leicester’s City striker Jamie Vardy. The 29-year old forward has been on sparkling form this seasoan. Vardy is currently the league leading goal scorer with 13 goals.
