Almost Done: Chelsea GO ALL OUT To Complete Stones Deal After Terry’ Poor Outing, Medical Imminent
Although the Blues got the better of the Baggies yesterday even with ten men after the sending off of skipper John Terry, it is still very much obvious that a lot of works still have to be done in the back line position before the transfer window closes.
According to Daily Star, The Blues are set to make a bid of £40million to Everton in other to secure the services of their centre back John Stones after Terry’s poor outing yesterday.
Although the money may look so big for a 21-year old, but I think this is a sacrifice Chelsea must make if they are to stay in the top four position this season.
In just three matches to the Premier League campaign, the Stamford Bridge outfit have had to play with ten men on two different occasions while also conceding a total of seven goals in these matches.
Shot stopper Thibaut Courtois was given a straight red card in their opening game against Swansea and just yesterday, Terry was also give a straight red card. Apparently, this is as a result of the obvious decline among the Chelsea defenders.
Chelsea conceded the least goals last season with just 32 goals but I don’t personally see that repeating itself this season except urgent attention is given to the back line position especially the centre back.
