Almost Done: Chelsea To ANNOUNCE £60,000-A-Week Star Signing Within 24 HOURS
Following the 3-0 mauling of the Premier league defending champions Chelsea by their arch rivals Manchester City last weekend, the Blues is now set to add more prolific stars to their squad.
According to reports from Daily Star, Chelsea have reported hijacked Manchester United summer target Pedro Rodríguez after the Red Devil failed to reach an agreement with Barcelona.
Its was earlier reported that that the Red Devil chief executive Ed Woodward had flown to spain to finalize the deal of about £22million for the attacker after the player himself had agreed a personal term with the Red Devil.
But with the latest development, it seems the Old Trafford faithful were unable to reach an agreement and the Stamford Bridge outfit had taken advantage of that to sign the FIFA World Cup star.
Petro move to Chelsea would not really be a big surprise to most Chelsea’s fans, because Chelsea were the first EPL team to have be linked with the Spanaird before Manchester United hijacked him. This will actually be a case of hijacking the hijacker.
Should the deal be finalized today, Petro would not only feature in Chelsea’s weekend clash against West Brom but would be a great addition to Mourinho’s squad this season.
And Pedro would definitely have an upgrade in pay with Chelsea compared to his current weekly wages of £60,000 at Barcelona.
