Almost Done: Highly Rated England Star To Complete Imminent Chelsea Move, Player Arrives Club
With just eight days to the opening of January transfer window, report has it that highly rated England shot stopper Jamal Blackman could make a switch to Belgian club Standard Liege in January.
Latest report according to Het Laaste Nieuws via talksport claims that the highly rated star is currently on trial at Liege with a view to a loan spell in January transfer.
The 22-year old shot stopper was promoted to Chelsea first team following the departure of Mark Schwarzer’s to Leicester City in January this year, as a third choice goalie.
Following the arrival of Marco Amelia to Stamford Bridge this season, Blackman fell further down the pecking order in Chelsea team selection.
The young star moved to Chelsea youth team in 2006. He was part of Chelsea under-18 team that won the youth FA Cup in 2011/2012 season.
Although yet to make any senior appearances for Chelsea, he however, made his only senior appearances for Middlesbrough during his loan spell at Riverside Stadium.
