BAD/GOOD NEWS: Fabregas To Return To Spain In January, As Highly Rated Brazilian Midfielder Set To Complete Chelsea Move
With less than two weeks to the opening of January transfer window, rumours linking playesr to clubs have stated and latest of such is that linking Chelsea midfield maestro Cesc Fabregas away from Stamford Bridge.
Former Manchester United player now coach of Valencia Gary Neville is reportedly keen on the services of Fabregas at Mestalla Stadium, in the second half of the season.
Fabregas was a key member of Jose Mourinho’s team last season. He registered a total of 18 assists in his debut season with Chelsea and his outstanding performance was unnoticed by various fans and pundits as his name was on everyone lips.
However, the 28-years old Spaniard has failed to keep up with last season performance. His current dip in form has been a frustration to Mourinho, who benched the star in Chelsea’s victory over Fc Porto last week as well as starting him from the bench in Chelsea defeat to Leicester City on Monday night.
Should Valencia be able to meet Chelsea valuation of Fabregas, the Spaniard could make a return to La Liga in January, after spending just 18 months with the Stamford Bridge outfit.
Brazilian attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira is however tipped to replace Fabregas in January, with report claiming that Chelsea had reached an agreement with his club Shakhtar Donetsk.
