Latest report according to the Metro claims that EPL defending champions Chelsea have enter race to sign Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino come January transfer window.

The Blues are on the look-out for proven striker who will help turn their Faltering season around. The blues attacking trio of Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Loic Remy have all struggle to make visible impact this season.

The Stamford bridge outfit is reportedly weighing up an offer of around £20million for the services of Berahino in January.

Chelsea are considering cutting Falcao loan spell in January after failing to impress. Since his arrival to Chelsea, the Colombia international have only manage to register one goal in all his appearances, which has got Mourinho frustrated.

With enough EPL experience on his side, coupled with the fact that he is an homegrown player, the 22-year old striker would serve as a good back-up to Diego Costa, should he make a switch to Chelsea.
