Chelsea News – Two Medicals Done, Third One Planned As Stones Deal Is Close
With just five days left to the close of the transfer window, a lot of surprises await all football faithfuls as we also expect clubs to try fixing their perceived weakness within their squad.
The Premier League reigning champions have had to endure a horrible start to this season following their slow start that has seen them gather four out of a possible seven points. Their form led to the Billionaire owner’s intervention in the transfer market, helping them to secure the signature of Baba Rahman and Pedro Rodriguez.
We quickly take a look at Chelsea’s dealings at the closing stages of the transfer market.
Marco Marin
The injury ridden and almost-forgotten Chelsea player Marco Marin is close to making a switch to Turkish side Trabzonspor. The director of the club, Suleyman Hurman confirmed that a deal is on and the player is already on his way to Turkey to have his medical tomorrow before he’ll be confirmed as their player tomorrow.
“He will arrive in Trabzon tonight and undergo a medical tomorrow before completing his transfer.” Hurman confirmed to LigTV.
Stones and Martinez
This news will delight the Blues faithful. It is reported that the player has informed his manager, Roberto Martinez that he wishes to make the switch to Stamford Bridge. The Times are claiming that the player will hand in a transfer request if the Merseyside club refuses to accept a £40 million bid from Chelsea.
Juan Caudrado
Having had probably the shortest stint as a Chelsea player, out-of-favor Chelsea winger Juan Caudrado is undergoing medical with the Italian champions, Juventus, for a season-long loan deal. He was relegated to the bench following the class of Pedro and Willian.
