Chelsea To Complete Transfer Of BRAZILIAN Forward In January, Falcao To Give Way
If report making the rounds is anything to go by, Brazilian Forward Talisca Anderson could be on his way to Stamford Bridge after an impressive performance for his Portuguese side Benfica this season.
This report is according to Metro which claims that the Stamford Bridge outfit are poised to add more attacking bit to their current squad after a slow starts to the season campaign.
Chelsea are considering a bid for the South America given the struggles of their strikers this season. The attacking trio of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have only managed to score five goals in all competition this season which has left Jose Mourinho frustrated.
Talisca scored a total of 11 goals in all competitions for Benfica last season and has shown great prospect this season. His arrival to Chelsea will automatically bring to an end Falcao’s loan spell with the Blues, as the squad cannot accommodate four striker in Mourinho’s 4-2-3-1 preferred formation.
In addition to Talisca, Chelsea are also interested in 18-year old win winger Goncalo Guedes as part of a potential double raid on the Portuguese giants.
These deals can actually come through easily given that Chelsea have a good relationship with the Portuguese side. The likes of Ramires, Nemanja Matic and former player David Luis were all gotten from Benfica.
