Chelsea Transfer News/Rumours Update- 20 May 2013

This is a video I made myself. It’s gives you an idea of the players Chelsea have been linked with in these past months. I’ll look at the big name players in greater detail.

1) Andre Schurrle.

There has been much speculation regarding the young German’s future. It’s deemed that the young striker will cost Chelsea a hefty £20,000,000 to acquire his services. He has already stated that he has played his last game in a Leverkusen shirt, and he’s also verified that Chelsea is his preferred destination.

2) Radamel Falcao.

Despite looking on course to join Monaco I have read reports that Chelsea are looking to hijack the move for the highly rated Colombian. Of course his £48,000,000 release clause will be a big factor in any teams effort to tempt the striker to their respective club.

3) Wayne Rooney.

Having publicly admitted his desire to leave Manchester United, Wazza has been one of the hottest topics in world football at he moment. He’s virtually been linked with every club in existence. Alternatively many English newspapers have reported that it is Chelsea who are the most interested to sign him and Mr Roman has already enquired United regarding a possible transfer.

4) Yaya Toure

As unrealistic as it sounds Yaya Toure is a reported transfer target for the blues this summer, and Roman Abramovich is keeping a close eye on his availability. Personally I think it’s a long shot and we don’t have a real chance of signing the big Ivorian.

5) Robert Leawandowski

Again this is a player looking like he’s almost sealed a move away from his club, yet despite this in recent weeks there’s been talk suggesting that Dortmund are not willing to sell their star man to bitter rivals Bayern Munich and they would prefer if he were to move to England.
