CONFIRMED: 23 Goals Hit Man To Sign For Chelsea In January, Either Falcao Or Oscar To Give Way

Chelsea’s summer target Alex Teixeira has reiterated his interest in playing for Chelsea and particularly for Jose Mourinho, who he perceived as the best manager in the world.

The 25-year old Brazilian has been on sparkling form this season for his Ukrainian club Shakhtar Donetsk. Teixeira is currently the highest goal scorer in Europe with 23 goals in 23 matches.

Speaking to Brazilian outlet Lance, the highly rated attacking midfielder confirmed contact with the EPL defending champions and also expresses his desire to work with Mourinho..

“What I’ve seen, and what my manager has said, is that Chelsea, Juventus and PSG made offers. But Chelsea and Juventus are deeper into negotiations.

“They’re three big clubs. Wherever I go, I’ll be happy.

“It’s my dream [to go to England]. I’ve spoken to many people who have the desire to play in the Premier League, because I think it’s the best in the world, more contested, and I want to have this challenge in my career”, he continued.

The star further praised the Portuguese tactician as one of the best manager in the world and hoped he overcome his recent challenges with Chelsea and remain as their boss in the future.

“He’s the world’s best coach. I think I would learn a lot from him. Said Teixeira.

“I hope he doesn’t leave Chelsea now. I want to work with him and have great success at his side.

“He has this aggressive way because he always tries to be the best. I want to overcome this challenge.”
