Confirmed: Highly Rated Midfielder Says Good Bye To Club Ahead Of Chelsea Move – Announcement Tomorrow

Latest report according to the Metro claims that England international midfielder Jordan Houghton could make a return to Stamford Bridge tomorrow.

The England youngster was loaned out to League One side Gillingham during the start of the season. His loan spell with the League One side will end tomorrow being the third of January.

Speaking ahead of a possible return to Chelsea, the highly rated star thanks everyone at Gillingham for the opportunity given to him.

‘I’d like to thank everyone at Gillingham FC for my time there,’ Houghton told his followers via his twitter account.

‘It was my first experience in the Football League and in the main an enjoyable one.’

‘It was a shame how it ended and not exactly how I’d have planned but I’ve learnt a lot and am pleased with all of the 15 games I got.’

The midfielder joined Chelsea academy at the under-8 and has since been with the club his entire career. His move to Gillingham was his first loan move away from Stamford Bridge.

Although yet to play for the Blues senior team, he might however be loaned to other club when he returns to Chelsea, as breaking into the star studded Chelsea’s team might not be possible at this trying period.
