Done Deal: £170,000-A-Week UCL Winner To Complete Chelsea’s Transfer, Deal Agreed On
Intrigues and thrills continue to surround Mourinho this season. The controversial Portuguese has again been linked to replace Louis Van Gaal, coach of Manchester Utd when his current deal expires. Van Gaal’s tactical approach hasn’t gone down well with many Manchester Utd fans.
This is according to Daily Star which claims that the Portuguese tactician has agreed to join the Red Devil when van Gaal contract expires next season.
Van Gaal signed a 3 year contract with the Old Trafford and he is in his second season at the club. Although Mourinho has endured a torrid time this season guiding the Club to 7 defeats this season and languishing in 16th position, he has been tipped to replace the Dutch man.
Mourinho hasn’t been far from controversies this season and was recently banned from the Stoke City game only last week. The coach flamboyant lifestyle won’t go down well with the Manchester Utd hierarchy as the Club wouldn’t like to be dragged about as Mourinho currently does to Chelsea.
The Champions League winner has been given a vote of confidence by the Chelsea board and remains a fan favourite. Leaving Chelsea to Manchester Utd would be considered a betrayal by many Chelsea fans even if he his eventually sacked by the Club following their poor performances this season.
Chelsea hopes to turn around their season after the international break as Mourinho would be busy making tactical readjustment before the league resumes.
