Done deal: Chelsea Midfield Target COMPLETES Transfer, Medical Takes Place Tonight

On a sad note for the Blues, the Premier League champions have lost out on the signature of their target Godfred Donsah to Bologna as per reports.

It is understood that the Blues had previously sent out scouts to watch and track the player’s progress at Cagliari.

The 19-year-old midfielder had drawn interest from several top clubs in Europe following his impressive outing for club last season.

The report, as per Italian sport site Sport Mediaset are claiming that the player will join Bolgna in a £5.1 million deal  and Bologna have also agreed to give Cagliari 25% of any future transfer. Personal terms have been agreed upon and the player is billed to have his medical before midnight today.

In recent time, Chelsea have been investing in a lot of starlets against their norm of rooting for already established players.

However, loosing out on the Ghanaian wonder kid will have them turn their attention to other promising lads across Europe and the world.

The midfielder has featured in 20 games for Cagliari, scoring 2 goals.
