Chelsea’s target Edin Dzeko is expected to complete medical today with the Italian giants AS Roman after an unsuccessful campaign with the Blue side of Manchester last season .
According to reports, the 29-year old star has agreed a £14million move to the Seria A side AS Roma after failing to dislodge Argentine forward Sergio Aguero as the point man in the Citizens starting eleven spot.
“He’s a perfect player for us, The stronger we are, the better it is, and the more champions that come in, the better our chances of winning something with Roma.” said Roma midfielder Lago Falq to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Reoprts had earlier said that Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho was looking forwad to signing the Bosnian international as a replacement for the departed Chelsea’s legend Didier Drogba but later opted for Radmel Falcao.
The former Wolfsburg stricker arrived Man City in 2010 and had scored a total of 72 goals in 187 appearances for the Citizens.
