Done Deal: ‘The Deal Will Be Announced Today’ Club Director Confirms Move For Highly Rated Brazilian Star

Report have emerged that young Brazilian Defender Wallace Oliveira dos Santos will be making a return to his home town Brazil to continue his development.

According to various report in the English media, the highly rated full back will join Brazilian club Gremio on 18 months loan deal. This follows after the star failed to break into Chelsea;s star studded team.

Speaking concerning the potential loan deal, Gremio sporting director Rui Costa confirms the news and insist the deal will be make official today.

“We have a lot of ongoing negotiations,” Costa said.

“Sometimes you [the press] discover, others have managed to maintain secrecy.

“Maybe we can announce the Wallace deal and yet another player on Wednesday (today).”

The 21-year old star moved to Chelsea in 2013 from Brazilian side Fluminense. Since his moved to Chelsea, the young star has been loaned to three different clubs including Inter Milan, Vitesse and lately Carpi.

Although yet to make any competitive appearances for the Blues senior team, he however featured for the Blues in pre-season friendly match against Singha All Stars in 2013 in which he earned a penalty for his side which former player Romeru Lukaku converted.
