Done & Dusted: Chelsea Target COMPLETES £58million Transfer, Medical Done
Chelsea former player Kelvin De Bruyne is on the verge of completing transfer to Chelsea’s ach rival Manchester City on a permanent deal after a superb performances for the German side Wolfburg last season.
This report was made known by Daily Express who claims the 24-year old star has arrived United Kingdom to undergo a medical with the Citizens. The deal is worth about £58million.
Chelsea were reported interested in re-signing the starlet but he rejected the move, claiming he can only think of playing for Chelsea when the Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho is no longer in charge of the the Blues.
While speaking to a reporter, Wolfburg’s sporting director Klaus Allofs confirmed a deal has been on ground for the Belgian to return to Premier League.
“We will complete everything either tonight or tomorrow,”
“De Bruyne is off to Manchester City.
“I explained at the presser [on Thursday] that we had begun talks, those talks have progressed. Now only minor issues remain.”
De Bruyne moved to Chelsea in 2012 from Genk but was later sold to Wolfburg in 2014 for a fee of £18million after failing to establish himself as a first team player. He made a total of 9 appearances for the Stamford Bridge outfit before his departure to Germany.
The 24-year old starlet was undoubtedly one of the best midfielder in Europe last season. He ended last season with a total 10 goals and 21 assists in league matches and was named the 2015 footballer of the year in Germany.
