Good & Bad News: Chelsea Set To Complete Transfer Of £65,000-A-Week Star

Having started the season on a poor note, Chelsea may now have to off-load some of its ineffective players in order to get fresh legs, who can add meaningful value to the team squad.

According to Daily Mail, Seria A champions Juventus are keen on signing unarguably Chelsea’s most versatile player Ramires. The Old Lady had earlier on wanted to sign fellow Brazilian Oscar but the Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho made it know to them that the 23-year old star was not for sale.

Ramires move to Chelsea in 2010 from Portuguese side Benfica and has been an instrumental player for the Blues over the years. Since his arrival, Ramires had helped the Stamford Bridge outfits win major trophies such as Premier League, Capital One cup, UEFA Europa cup, FA cup and the prestigious UEFA Champions League cup 2011/2012.

It is believed that the sudden interest Juventus has for Ramires is as a result of thigh injury suffered by the Old Lady summer signing Sami Khedira.

Khedira moved to Juventus this summer from Spanish giants Real Madrid in order to fill the void left by Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal.

However should Mourinho let Ramires leave this season, Chelsea will be missing a great player who undoubtedly is the most versatile player in Blues’ team.
