Chelsea is believed to be in the race to sign Leicester City hit man – Jamie Vardy. The 15 goals hit man could be eyeing a move to a top club this January as he gradually reaches the pinnacle of his career.
Vardy, who is currently 29 years, could seize moving to the Club as an opportunity in his career and Leicester City could hap on the chance on getting a big transfer value for the striker who would turn 30 soon.
Vardy has been the hero of the Leicester City team, taking them to unbelievable 2nd position as the expense of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester Utd, breaking records along the line notably Van Nistelrooy’s goal scoring feat.
Chelsea coach Hiddink has displayed calm approach towards his transfer dealings and he assured the fans that he would assess the squad properly before making a move for any player.
But with rumours linking Radamel Falcao back to Monaco and Remy still not sure of his future at the club, a deal might be approved for the striker- Vardy.
His pace and deadly finishing could prove pivotal to the Chelsea hopes of finishing in the top four as he is more of a team player. Although Claudio Ranieri has dismissed claims that Leicester City could be selling their hitman, a good transfer fee might be too difficult to reject.
