Chelsea hope of signing summer target Antoine Griezmann have been given major boost with report claiming that Chelsea are set to make a bid for the French international ahead of January transfer.
Report according to Spanish median house AS claims that Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are interested in signing Chelsea’s misfit Juan Cuadrado following an outstanding display for the Italian champions Juventus since his loan spell with them.
Cuadrado moved to Chelsea during this year January transfer window but could not adapt to the fast game of Premiership. He only managed to make 15 appearances for the Blues, in his seven months spell..
Following the arrival of Pedro Rodriguez from Barcelona, Cuadrado fell even further in Chelsea’s pecking order and was loaned out to Juventus to get more playing time.
Should the report be true, Chelsea would definitely prefer to sell the Colombia international to Atletico Madrid rather than Juventus, as they could bait him in a swap deal for long term target Griezmann.
