Report according to sport witness claims that Chelsea have enter the race to sign French international Paul-Georges Ntep with the aim of bolstering their squad attacking line.

The forward who has notched two goals and four assist already this season has been watch by host of European teams including Chelsea. The quick paced and technically skilled player can operate as a centre forward or through the wings.

A meeting with the player’s agent is on the taps according to reports with a possible swoop for the powerful forward. The Cameroonian born forward was call-up by French Coach Didier Deschamps to play in friendlies against Belgium and Albania and made a debut in 7 June, 2015.

The 23-year old striker current deal with Rennes expires in 2017 but the Club would likely take advantage of the situation to extend his contract in other to get more value from his move when he is eventually signed by another team.

The player was pull-out from the French squad after he picked up a hamstring injury during 1-1 draw with Monaco while playing for Rennes.
