Off To Stamford Bridge? World Cup Winning Chelsea Target Speaks Up, Confirms EPL Interest

Chelsea have been handed massive blow in their chase for sensational Nigeria international Kelechi Nwakali.

Latest report according to Daily Star claims that the young star is poised to snub Chelsea and host of other Premier League teams to complete a dream switch to Chelsea’s arch rival Arsenal.

Nwakali captained his team to win the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile, where he was awarded the most valuable player of the tournament.

Top English teams such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in the service of sensational midfielder.

Although his elder brother Chidiebere Nwakali sign for Manchester City last year, Kelechi is however not willing to follow his brother steps as he prefer a move to Emirate stadium.

“I would love to play for Arsenal,” he told Nigerian media outlet MTN Football

“They are their Premier League club I will like to play for them because they play the best football in the world.”

His elder brother however claims Kelechi actions depend solely on his decisions

“It is a personal decision and so he will be the one to take it as this could well define his career,” Chidiebere said.

Chidiebere Nwakali is currently on a two-and-a-half year loan deal with La Liga side Malaga to gain more experience, and will return to Manchester in June 2017.
