Rumours making the round claims Spanish giants Real Madrid are set to hijack Chelsea‘s summer target William Carvalho from Sporting Lisbon for a reported £32million.
This comes as a surprise with Madrid having enough quality defensive midfielder in their current squad in the likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric Asier Illarramendi and Casemiro to choose from.
New manager Rafa Benitez is reportedly looking forward to sell off both Illarramendi and Lucas Silver this summer after fallen down the pecking order.
According to report from Spanish news outlet AS as par Daily Express, Benitez has instructed his Bernabeu officials to step up effort in securing the signature the of 23-year old star.
