Roman Abramovich To AXE Mourinho, Claims Chelsea Defensive Legend

Following the performance of Chelsea this season, the team has evidently been below par and the man responsible for assembling the squad could be leaving in no time as suggested by former Chelsea defender Graeme le Saux.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich  is known for his ruthlessness in hiring and firing managers.  Jose Mourinho was in similar situation in his first spell and both parties left each other by Mutual Consent after a slow start to the season

The likes of Felipe Scolari, Carlo Ancelotti, Andre Villa Boas, Roberto Di Matteo as well as Rafael Benitez had been victim of Chelsea’s supremo ruthlessness.

The Blues have really struggled with pace this season as all departments on the pitch have been suffering. The defense marshalled by Captain John Terry conceded the least number off goals last season in the English Premier League but has been raking in goals this season.

English Professional Football Association Player of the year for 2014/2015 season, Eden Hazard  has not been at his best and even his national team boss Wilmots has been critical of his performances in their last world cup qualifying matches.

The Coach branded him the ‘The worst player on the pitch”. Being compared to Christaino Ronaldo and Messi by Jose Mourinho, Hazard has to rediscover his magic if Chelsea is to save their already disappointing season.

Another aspect of the team that needs reinvention is the midfielder area. The combination of Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic that made Chelsea outstanding last season  has not been able to cover the backline enough this season.

However a glimpse of hope can only be seen in the outstanding Willian who has been brilliant in most matches.
