SO SAD: Fabregas To EXIT Stanford Bridge In January After Rift With Chelsea Fans, Hiddink Already In Talks With Potential Replacement
Despite the obvious need of midfield reinforcements in Chelsea, the Blues are looking to clear out a major crop of their misfiring players.
Latest report according to the metro claims that the 28-year old midfielder Cesc Fabregas could make a switch to Santiago Bernabeu in January, after failing to impress this season.
It is reported that Real Madrid manager Rafael Benitez is keen on working with the Midfield maestro and could pounce on the uncertainty at Chelsea to lure the star away from Stamford Bridge.
Fabregas along with Diego Costa and Eden Hazard were branded as’ three rats’ by fans of Chelsea football club, during Chelsea 3-1 victory over sunderlad last weekend. The fans lend their support to sacked Jose Mourinho while insisting Fabregas poor performance was one of the reasons they sacked the Portuguese tactician.
Fabregas was inspiring for the Blues with his 18 assists last season. His outstanding performances helped the Stamford Bridge outfit to won both the Premier League title and the Capital One Cup.
However, the Spaniard had failed to live up to expectation this season. Should Chelsea be able to secure the services of James Rodriguez of Real Madrid in January, the Spaniard could be allowed to make a return to La Liga.
