Welcome To Stamford Bridge? 35 Goals Hit Man To Complete Shock Chelsea Transfer, Announcement Imminent
With January transfer looming ahead, the Premier League defending champions are planning to bring in some players who will serve as reinforcement to their current team.
Latest report according to the Daily Mirror claims that the EPL defending champions have started negotiation with former Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor, for a possible switch to Stamford Bridge in January transfer.
The Togo international is currently a free agent after his club Tottenham released him earlier this season to join any club, even though he still has a contract with them that expires next year summer.
Chelsea strikers have struggled to find the back of the net this season. The trio of Diego Costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao has only managed to score five EPL goals.
Chelsea are current just a point above relegation zone and a move for attacking reinforcement is imminent. Misfiring summer signing Falcoa is tipped to exit Stamford Bridge in January after failing to live up to expectation.
Although Adebayor may not have been involved in any competitive competition this season, his wealth of Premier League experience could serve as added value to Chelsea, should they secure his services.
Adebayor had scored a total of 35 league goals for Tottenham, since his arrival to White Hart Lane in 2011.
