Welcome To Stamford Bridge? Agent Confirms Chelsea’s Deal For UCL Winner, Top Four Finish GUARANTEED

If rumour making the rounds is anything to go by, Chelsea and Ivorian Legend Didier Drogba could be on his way to Stamford Bridge for a third spell.

Latest report according to Evening Standard claims that the powerful striker agent Thierno Seydi has confirmed that his client has held talks with Chelsea.

Although his role is yet to be stated, rumours however, haav it that its most likely going to act as assistant manager to Guus Hiddink.

The Champions League winner was in attendance with Hiddink at Stamford Bridge in Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Sunderland on Saturday.

It will be recalled that Hiddink earlier confirmed that he would love the powerful striker to be part of his managerial team in January.

Should Chelsea be able to lure the Drogba away from his MLS club Montreal in January, the highly experienced star would serve as great motivator to Chelsea boys, given that he has won practically all the major titles with the Blues during his reign at Stamford Bridge.

The powerful striker could also act as intermediary between the Roman Abramovich, Hiddink and the players.

Yes! This is a welcome development, considering that Drogba will be able to bring the much needed still into the Chelsea team. It is obvious that he is the missing teeth in the jigsaw and for him to come back at the club in the capacity of a manager, that bodes well for the team.

Since the sack of Mourinho, the players have shown that they could perform better without the ex boss being in the team. With the reports claiming that he would sign for Manchester United, I don’t think Chelsea have anything to be afraid of.
