Chelsea have officially announced that Dutch starlet Nathan Ake has signed a new five years contract extension with the Blues which will run till 2020.
This report was made known by Chelsea’s official website that the Dutch defender will remain a Chelsea player till 2020 season.

The young starlet moved to Chelsea youth academy in 2011 from Feyenoord and made his first debut for the Blues senior team in 2012 replacing Juan Mata in a game against Norwich City; He was also part of the Chelsea‘s youth team that lifted the FA Youth Cup in 2012 as well as the UEFA Europa Cup in 2012/2013 season with the Blues’ senior team.
In March last year, Ake was loaned out to the Championship side Reading where he played with his fellow Chelsea‘s mate Nathaniel Chalobah before returning to Chelsea at the end of the 2014/2015 season.
Although the youngster has been given a 5-year contract extension, Chelsea have also given him room to develop and get more first team football experience by sending him on a season-long loan move to the newly promoted Premier League side Watford.
