EPL defending champions play maker Eden Hazard has taken a swipe at his critics after a slow start to the season.
Chelsea are currently eight points behind league leader Manchester City and most sport pundit around the globe have criticized the 24-year old midfielder as being lazy and not ready to take up responsibility for his team due to the qualities he possess.
The Belgium international was the best player in England last season winning both the prestigious PFA awards and footballer of the year award. He is also currently the highest earner in the Blues team with £200,000-a-week.
Hazard scored a total of 14 goals for the Blues last season as they won the premier league and his brilliant skills has been compared to the likes of Lionel Messi and Christaina Ronaldo in recent time.
Speaking to the media, the Belgium international vowed to start firing again after scoring his first goal this season over the weekend.
“I am feeling good. Last year I had a good season. I have not lost my quality. said Hazard.
“I had a good game and scored a goal with a bit of luck, but that will be good for my confidence.”
Hazard poor form has added to Chelsea current woes. however they appear to be gathering momentum following their back-back win.
He added: “After the complicated start to the season we’ve had we had to win against a good team.
“We won during the week as well and the confidence was close (to being fully restored). We deserved to win the match.”
This is definitely a big warning to clubs who have dared to underrate the mesmerizing attacking midfielder.
