A BOLA: Jose interested in signing Benzema this January

wpid-Karim-Benzema-Real-Madrid-HD-Wallpaper.jpegChelsea boss Jose Mourinho is monitoring Karim Benzema’s deteriorating situation at Real Madrid.

With the boo-boys on his back, Benzema is edging closer to a January departure from the Santiago Bernabeu.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is also reportedly ready to pounce for the French striker, but A Bola says Mourinho is also keen.

Mourinho sees Benzema as an alternative to Manchester United ace Wayne Rooney, who now appears committed to Old Trafford. Benzema has bags of quality and an excellent goal scoring touch, meaning he would probably be a huge success in the Premier League, plus Mourinho is thought to have a good relationship with the Frenchman.

Benzema has a good record under Mourinho at Madrid and the Portuguese coach would hope that the Frenchman could replicate that at Stamford Bridge.

Benzema wants to play a key role in France’s squad at next summers World Cup and won’t get that unless he is playing regularly, which may not happen if he stays at Madrid so a move to Mourinho’s Chelsea may benefit all parties.

I don’t know about this but I have a feeling he won’t make it at stamford bridge. We should just add jackson martinez and diego costa.that is my ideal striking pair that I see.All these benzema r already predictable.I prefer eto’o to benzema. Its also not about the strikers but about our midfielders;they are just way too selfish and don’t work hard for the strikers-they do not lay good balls to make it easy for the strikers so it won’t matter which strikers we buy.

Huh? How can you say our Midfielders are selfish? The amount of times they set up our strikers is immense they just can’t finish them either cos they have been tackled, they miss or the keeper saves it.
