Almost Done: Chelsea Set To Complete Transfer Of £85,000-A-Week Midfielder
Reports has it that both Chelsea and Juventus are likely to agree a fee for winger/midfielder Juan Cuadrado who joined the Italian side on a season long loan. The Colombian international has been an instant hit at the Turin club having impressed the club as well as the fans with his performances.
The player who was a cult hero at Fiorentina endured a hard spell at Chelsea having joined the club in February 2015. His move to the blues was after an excellent outing with the Colombian national at the world cup
Much to the dismay of many, the player found life difficult at Chelsea as he failed to command a regular shirt and made few glimpses of his potential.
Although defended by the Blues boss, Mourinho said in an interview when question about the Colombian: “He needs time to adapt to the Premier League. I know Italy and I know the difference between Italy and England; his formation, his development, his experience –everything was in Italy”.
Despite the defence of the player, the winger was shipped out on loan to Juventus with the arrival of Pedro Rodriquez from Barcelona.
It is understood that a deal could be struck by the two clubs before the winter transfer window as Juventus fear that other clubs may come for the player services after an impressive displace in Italy.
