Good News: Highly Rated South American CB To Return To Stamford Bridge As Terry Replacement

Having conceded 17 goals in just eight matches, Chelsea loanee Michael Hecto is poised to return back to Stamford Bridge during the winter transfer window in order to help Chelsea ailing defense.

This is according to Get Reading which claims that the 23-year old centre back could be on his way to Chelsea next transfer window after an impressive performance for the Championship side.

Speaking to the media, the Royals boss Steve Clarke feared that the Stamford Bridge outfit may decide to cut short Hecto loan spell with them in January.

“It’s not something that I’ve discussed with anybody but I imagine that Chelsea would be able to recall him in the January window. Said Clarke.

“It’s par for the course that any team who does a season long loan always has a recall in January.

“But I want Michael to stay for the full season which is something that Chelsea said they would allow us to do.”

The centre back signed for Chelsea during last summer transfer window deadline day, for a reported £4million deal from Reading. He was however sent back on loan to the Royals for a season-long to continue his development.

The young high rated defender as been tipped to replace aging John Terry by Jose Mourinho in the futur
