Almost Done: Chelsea Set To Completes Transfer Of 6FT 1 England International Midfielder
EPL defending champions Chelsea are set to loan out young star Nathaniel Chalobah on a season-long move to championship side Reading to gain more first team football and experience.
This is according to report from the Daily Star, who claims that Blues’ boss Jose Mourinho is set to trim off his squad ahead of the transfer window deadline day and he sees the young England international as a surplus to requirement for the new campaign.
The defensive midfielder moved to Chelsea’s youth academy at the age of ten from Fulham and has developed to becoming of one of the best young midfielder in England.
Since his move to Chelsea, the 20-year-old star has spent most of his playing time on a loan spells to clubs such as Watford, Nottingham Forest, Middlesbrough, Burnley and Reading.
He made a total of 24 appearances scoring just a goal for the Royals last season and also started all three of England’s group games at the Under 21 European Championships this summer.
Should this deal go through, Nathaniel would join other Chelsea’s young stars in likes of Lewis Baker, Isaiah Brown Danilo Pantic and Dominic Solanke on loan to gain more playing time.
