SHOCKING: £75,000-A-Week Midfield Maestro Set To Complete Chelsea's Transfer (Not Pogba)
The blues have remained actively involved in the transfer market, this time around with clearing out. It was earlier reported that Cuadrado was shown the exit door of Stamford Bridge as he moved to Juventus on a season-long loan deal.
This morning, reports coming from Turkey are claiming that Besiktas are in talks with the Blues for Mikel Obi after they failed to secure the signature of Liverpool’s Lucas Leiva.
The Turkish were set to land the Kop’s Lucas but the deal collapsed when the aforementioned player was handed a start in their game against Arsenal last Monday.
Besiktas are desperate to secure the services of an experienced midfielder and have tipped Mikel to perfectly fit the bill, as per the Daily Mail.
Mikel has managed to feature once for the Stamford Bridge outfit this season so far. The boss of Chelsea, Jose Mourinho, has been favouring Zouma, who is a natural centre back, as his back up defensive midfielder to Matic.
And Chelsea’s interest in Pogba put his future for the London club in further doubt as he (Mikel) will fall further down the selection cadre of Mourinho.
The Blues are preparing a record breaking deal of £73 million for the impressive Paul Pogba this week
