Antoine Griezmann To SIGN For Chelsea? Player Speaks Out Ahead Of January Transfer

As the transfer window draw closer, Chelsea are favorite to make marquee signing due to their poor starts to the season campaign.

Chelsea are reportedly keen on luring French attacking midfielder Antoine Griezmann to Stamford Bridge in winter transfer market in other to strengthen their current squad.

However, latest report according to tribalfootball.com claims that the French star has ruled out any possible move away from Vicente Calderón Stadium in January transfer.

When asked in an interview about Chelsea and PSG rumoure transfer, the 24-year old star insisted he is happy with his current team and he does not hope to leave Madrid any time soon.

 “I do not know but I’m here, I do not feel the need to play in Ligue 1, nor in the Premier League or in Serie A,” said Griezmann

 “I am in Spain, I’m happy. Life here, football, I like everything.”

This is certainly a big blow to both Jose Mourinho and Chelsea’s owner Roman Abramovich who are both willing to bring the star to Stamford Bridge in January.
