Chelsea’s Boss Jose Mourinho has today signed a new four year deal with the Stamford Bridge outfit.
This was made known by Chelsea’s official website that the Portuguese tactician would remain with the Blues till 2019. The deal is rumoured to be worth £30million.
The self acclaimed Special One helped the Blues win the Premier League last season after five years of waiting while also winning the Capital One Cup. Mourinho currently earns £180,000 per week.
‘If the club is happy, I am happy. I think this is a normal thing for me to sign a new contract. It is important we have this continuity and I hope we can enjoy more success in the future – for the fans, the players and the club.
‘I said when I returned here two years ago that I have a special feeling for this club and nothing changed. It is the club closest to my heart and I am very happy to know I will be staying here for a long time.’ said the special one.
This is the Portuguese second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge after returning to the west London club in 2013 from Real Madrid.
