Falcao Starts – Chelsea Likely Line Up For Swansea City
Chelsea will kick start the defence of their premier league title with a season opener against Welsh side Swansea City at home today. Jose Mourinho and his wards will know a good start will be required if they must retain their league title at the end of the 2015/2016 season hence they will be all out to get the maximum three points against the Swans.
Chelsea will be bookmakers’ favorites to win today’s match and rightly so, they have remained unbeaten in the last 10 premier league games, a run in which they won eight and drew two.
Although Swansea city are quite a good team and a game against them is often tricky but if one is to judge by their stats against Chelsea, it will be safe to assume Chelsea will get the maximum three points on offer; Swansea have lost all their last four visits to the stamford bridge. The blues are likely to be without Diego Costa after Mourinho practically ruled him out of the match due to his problematic hamstring.
Chelsea will be clear favorites for the title again this season but they are sure going to be given a run for their money by the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal, and it will be unwise to rule out Manchester United considering the caliber of players they have bought in the transfer window so far.
Swansea on the other hand will be candidates for a top 10 finish.
Below is what we think will be both teams’ likely line up for today’s match
