Breaking News – Chelsea Set To Makes OFFICIAL £30m Bid For Dream Target

Chelsea are set to make a third bid of £30million for the Toffees centre defender John Stones who has caught the interst of the Blues boss Jose Mourinho.

After an initial bid of £20million and £26million were rejected by the Toffees, the Portuguese boss has decided to up his bid to £30million in order to lure the young English man to Stamford Bridge.

The 21-year old star is seen as a potential replacement for the Blues skipper John Terry who has just one year left in his contract with the Blues.

According to Telegraph, the chairman of both clubs Bruce Buck and Bill Kenwright have met to discuss the possibility of striking a deal after previously working on a deal that took both Christian Atsu and Romelu Lukaku to Everton.

Reports says the two Manchester sides are also interested in the player with Manchester United in urgent need to bring in a centre back after failing to secure the services of Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos.

United are said to be offering bumper cash plus Jonny Evans as part of the deal since Everton are short of centre backs.

In my own opinion, despite the fact Stones will prove to be a decent acquisition to Mourinho’s side this summer, his price tag however is outrageuos for a 21-year-old.

The manager should do proper scouting and get us someone similar to Stone’s quality, who is also home grown, since that is one of the major reason we are keen on landing him.
